Prevent your clients or customers from seeing the references to ManageWP or GoDaddy when Worker disconnects from ManageWP

Quick code snippets to remove the ManageWP and GoDaddy Pro references from the Worker plugin when it becomes disconnected from the ManageWP Dashboard.

This requires the adding of a css file to override/add to your wp-admin css and enqueuing that file in the child theme’s functions.php

Create the CSS File

Navigate to your child theme’s directory and create a file called style-admin.css and place the following code in that file

/*Remove ManageWP Dashboard Notice*/

.mwp-notice {
    display: none;

Enqeue the File

Navigate to your child theme’s functions.php and add the following code:

//Admin CSS Override

function load_custom_wp_admin_style(){
    wp_register_style( 'custom_wp_admin_css', get_bloginfo('stylesheet_directory') . '/style-admin.css', false, '1.0.0' );
    wp_enqueue_style( 'custom_wp_admin_css' );

add_action('admin_enqueue_scripts', 'load_custom_wp_admin_style');

This will result in removal of the ManageWP notice on the dashboard.

Change ManageWP Text Strings

Still working in your child theme’s functions.php add the following snippet of code, changing the “Your Company Name” to whatever you’d like:

//Change ManageWP Text Strings

function my_text_strings( $translated_text, $text, $domain ) {
    switch ( $translated_text ) {
        case 'ManageWP - Worker' :
            $translated_text = __( 'Your Company Name', 'worker' );
    case 'ManageWP' :
      $translated_text = __( 'Your Company Name', 'worker' );
    return $translated_text;
add_filter( 'gettext', 'my_text_strings', 20, 3 );
